Our Silent Guided-Directed retreats are offered at the Villa Madonna for groups of 20-30.  Even though you are with others, you live your own rhythm of prayer, rest and relaxation.  We spend most of the day in silence and with periods of guided input, simply paying attention to God.  The only conversation beyond the opening and closing sessions, is during scheduled meetings with a spiritual director.  During that time, you listen together for how God's Spirit is leading you in prayer and life.

Our Guided -Directed Retreats are Ignatian in approach in that scripture is usually the focus for prayer, especially prayer over the life of Christ.  If you are sensing God's invitation to "come away for awhile", a directed retreat may be for you.

The Atlantic Association of the Spiritual Exercises Apostolate (AASEA) invite you to come, join us at the beautiful Villa Madonna in Rothesay, NB for a weekend Silent-Directed Retreat, November 21 – 23, 2025.  With others, in silence, live your own rhythm of prayer and rest. Partake in periods of guided input, personal prayer, Eucharist, and the opportunity to meet with a spiritual director, where you will listen together for how God’s Spirit is leading you in prayer and life.  Scripture is the is the main focus for prayer, as well, we offer music, poetry, nature and video presentations related to our retreat theme “Gifts Given...Gifts Received…Gifts Shared”.
